So far so good. A bit over on the mash temp but only one degree C.

Hi!
Looking good!
You have the same digital thermometer as I have - how accurate do you find it? I haven't tried calibrating mine.

I did calibrate it, and my spirit thermometer as I felt my last mash was probably at a lower temp than the reading on the spirit last time, resulting in a drier and higher ABV beer than I should have had.

Spirit was bang on at 0'C but read 103'c at 100'C. Digital was bang on at both. So I'm just using that now. Easy to do and worth doing.

Update. After 4 weeks in the bottle this has come out really nice. ABV of 4.5%. Nice light amber colour, bright. Nice zingy citrus hops and a crisp balanced nicely bitter beer. Chuffed with it.

I only got 16.5l out of it, so something went wrong. I think it was a lumpy mash and **** sparge, but hey ho.
