How about this lads, Johnnie'e first season hop vine growing up and along my under shelter boozing and barbie area!
Created many a good hangover under there! :sick:

The variety is "Prima Donna" bought from Aplus Hops, they look fantastic in the garden.

Have you harvested them yet BB? What quantity will you get and where will you dry them out?

Harvested them yesterday HM, they went up to the 5 gallon mark on a brew bucket, not sure about the weight as I forgot to weigh them :wha: ....not bad I thought for one plant. :thumb:
They're laid on a blanket at the moment in the loft drying.

When you ordered it, how did it come? in a padded envelope?

When you ordered it, how did it come? in a padded envelope?

Yes, it was a rhizome that came in a padded envelope.
I can't believe how it grew once it got going, I got a load of hops reaching the 5 gallon mark on a brew bucket from one plant, getting another next year!

I planted it in February :thumb:
