Hi all, just started my first brew for a good few years, after reading a few threads I've opted for a Turbo Cider.
Brewed four but tweaked each one slightly to see how it develops rather than just having 4 the same and learning nowt.
All 4 litres to start and then top up to 5 when fermentation slows down, all from Tesco own concentrate A.J. all with a single Tsp of yeast, yeast nutrient, Pectolase the differences are listed below.
1- 1/2 Tsp tannin, 1/2 Tsp Malic Acid 150G sugar.
2- 3/4 Tannin 3/4 Malic acid 200g sugar.
3- 3/4 Tsp Tannin, 1 Tsp Malic Acid and 250g sugar.
4- 3/4 Tsp Tannin, 1 Tsp Malic Acid and 300g sugar.
Last one is a bit of a bet with a mate due to sugar level to see how strong we can get it.
Now all safely in airing cupboard and let the good times roll !!!
