eBay is good because you can usually get cheap postage but I worry how frssh some of the hops are.

I use the Brew UK (based in Salisbury), who I find a tad expensive. If I need just a few bits and bobs, I drive to Worthing and buy in a shop....not that they stock much. Ive learnt to make a phone call first.

That's who I used and they are a bit more expensive. On the plus side, they always have everything I need in stock where as a lot of the others don't.

Worcester Hop Shop.
They do vacuum foil packs at 100g with plenty of choice. As an aside, they also do some good all grain kits at a good price. Been using them for a year or so now and very efficient service"

Balliihoo is good for small orders since they only charge £2.50 for less than 2kg of goods.

I have also used this ebay seller; quick delivery and good to deal with

However I cannot recommend another ebay seller who deals in hops. See here for why

That ebayer is very good and the delivery times are always excellent.

The reason I asked was that recently i purchased 250 grams of Chinook pellets for £7.99 including free delivery off an e bay seller called crossmyloof brewery,I think that that is a reasonable price for that order and if there are better deals online elsewhere

I use Malt Miller. I buy hops at the same time as my grain.

Same here, Malt Miller or Geterbrewed, whichever has the varieties I want. Postage here is expensive so I maximise value as far as possible by getting as near to the maximum (25Kg) weight as I can.

When I buy a 25Kg sack of pale malt I buy all the speciality malts and hops I'm going to need for all the brews I'll get out of it, all at the same time. Last couple of sacks I've bought have been from Brew UK only because they had everything I needed. Saves a lot of money that way as there's only one delivery charge.

I just looked at the 1st 3 in 250g packs and it is 10% cheaper at the stated price. Just for a bit of a rant postage in this country is the reason hops are not so much cheaper in small packs.
