Ok this time I didn't have any flourishing good smeeling damask rose to use, so used what I had.
2 ltrs of rose petals mixed colours
1 ltr rgj (lidl)
920g sugar
1/2 tsp of citric acid and pectolase
1 tsp of wilko yeast nutrient
2 tea bag tea and harris premium yeast.
Poured boiling water over the petals and left to steep for an hour before adding to the disolved sugar and rgj. Last time used wgj thought I'd try rgj, initial impressions was that the petals weren't smelling rose like, but I'll wait and see. Fermentation has started.
