As I invested in organic fruit all I did was wash them, floated them in a Starsan solution over night and then peeled into strips, carefully scraping off any pith that was left with a sharp knife. Then weighed the pieces to get the right amount.

Next time i'll cut the pieces into thin strips to try and get as much of the fruit oils as possible into the brew and as I said, i'll up the amount, in my view you can never have too much grapefruit :whistle:
 
Just drinking one now, only tried it for first time yesterday, and absolutely love it.

However I can't find the recipe in their recipe book, could anyone post a link?

Also in terms of the grapefruit, lots of terms banded about - peel, rind etc, but I am guessing it's best just to use the zest?

Also as mentioned above, their set up means much better hop utilization, so for us home brewers, what's the suggested compensation for the late aroma and flavour additions,....an extra 20 %?
