Hello all
I’ve created a new youtube channel called Taste the Silence which will focus on straightforward pours of World famous beers starting with a couple of Trappists.

My intention is to create commentary free videos for viewers to enjoy without any interuptions. To have videos of close up pours and what the beer looks like poured into a glass. Imagine wanting to see what the legendary Westvleteren looks like being poured in full HD in 60 fps.

What are the opinions on this, will you watch something like that?

It’s up here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIA5khLzMUgmko3FapjTfAA

Give it a like/sub if you want to see more.
Thanks

Finally my life is complete

Sorry for the sarcastic tone but I'd far rather pour them myself as at least I get the pleasure of drinking them afterwards then. I'm ooot.

I must admit that I struggle to see the point of watching a video of a beer being poured. But hey, if it's something you're passionate about I'm sure there are likeminded people somewhere that would like to watch, and the internet is the best way to find 'em.

To save people going off site here are the 3 videos on the site.

What about the people that don't have access to Trappist beers but are intrigued to see high quality footage of what these beers look like? What about the people that have tried 1 or 2 beers and are interested in buying some more but want to see what they look like first before spending twice as much as a normal beer costs in the shop for 1.

The internet is a weird and wonderful place :thumb:

FFS people give the lad a break maybe its not your thing but to say "it will never get any views" is a bit harsh and he has already had 73

Not yet, have thought about it but never made any traction on it. Now that I'm signed up to this forum I'll browse around and see what's happening around.

Have a go at it. You'll be surprised at the fantastic beers you can make, even early on in your brewing adventure.

I must admit, those videos are making my mouth water. And I like the fact you've got the proper glasses for each beer :thumb:

The thing with the porn analogy; if you're feeling randy and the missus is away, you can stick video on and, er... well. And you'll feel better. It's not quite the same thing, but it'll do in a pinch.

If I want a beer, sipping a glass of water while watching a video of Le Trappiste being poured ain't going to make me feel better.

Ehh......
No sure you will get away with this on here to be honest mate, hinting at something is one thing but......😳

Ah. Apologies if it's too graphic, I wasn't aware that wasn't allowed. Edited and noted for the future, thanks.

It's still a video if it's on the internet, isn't it? I'm not talking about sticking a tape in the VCR!
