Construction fail

I bought an off cut of net curtain to make a sparge bag. Decided it would be quickest to sew a cord round the edge using the wife's almost forgotten sewing machine. The result was three google searches :-

How to thread a sewing machine.
How to oil a sewing machine.
Sewing machine repair shops.

I will when it gets back from the repair shop. I have a suspicion they will say it would be cheaper to replace than repair.

SWIMBO doesn't sew, so my net curtain was hand sewn by me. Big hem all around the top. Used fishing line for thread. Orange nylon string cord then threaded through. Didn't look pretty but served me well brewing 14 batches during my BIAB phase.
