Hi,

I put a wilko Hoppy Copper Bitter kit on 2 weeks ago. It was meant to finish in around 7 to 10 days, but it's still bubbling. Should I leave it or take some kind of action?

Cheers

If by "meant" you mean that's what the instructions say then ignore them, instructions are rarely accurate it is finished when it is finished, if you dont have a hydrometer you really should get one they take all the guess work out.

Cheers fella, I've got a hydrometer and I'm slowly learning to use it, what am I looking for? A particular reading or a constant reading?

Actually, you are looking for both. Your instructions should give you a target FG, probably somewhere around 1014ish.

Ideally, you should take a reading on 3 consequitive days and it be consistent at that level.

I've done two hoppy copper kits, both finished at 1008 within two weeks.
