Ok so I'm going to use these with 5kg of pilsner malt and s23 yeast. I was going to chuck 60g in at he start of the boil. Any thoughts? (23 litre brewlength)
Prefer beer engine but thats up to you. Tetnang on its own mmmmm! maybe add some saaz or hallertau at the end. It will keep the IBUs low enough for a decent lager/pilsner. :thumb:
As an addition to this thread as I was toying with making a lager since I have an empty Corny, with the weather as it currently is, could the main fermentation be done in the cupboard as usual and then put the FV outdoors to lager in the cold temperatures?
I only have the one beer fridge and that acts as a keggerator rather than a fermenter.
In my freezer i have some hallertau or saaz, Im actually unsure which as the sticker has been lost. I will chuck it in at the end and see what happens!!!
