I just wondered how everyone found this once it was conditioned?
I made a batch up in 2l PET bottles and the sediment was mixed back in to the liquid the moment the lid was opened and the pressure released. I ended up having to strain the lot through a muslin to clear out the flag. I'm assuming it was something to do with the cider yeast combining with the groves base as I have never had the same problem when conditioning in my smoother plastic faux 2.5l cider flagons...
I even had a different batch even blow out fully secured champagne corks out of bottles as well!
It's become a bit of a running joke really.

I made a batch of wilko apple cider bottled it after two weeks and left it about 16 days it tastes lovely but not much gas in it. Any suggestions please
