Now that Easter is more like Christmas just wondered if anyone got an "Easter egg" present other than a chocolate one .

I got a lovely Easter jigsaw from my wife.------6 boxes of laminate flooring and underlay that need to be assembled in the kitchen starting yesterday with stripping the old floor our. That's my weekend ruined!

Happy Easter, Hrmmph!!!

Oh god no. I rather buy my own presents but Easter shouldn't be an occasion to buy each other gifts.

I have told the family not to buy my son chocolate, some have given gifts whilst others have given money.

I've got a 4 pack of mini eggs and SWMBO has got a 5 pack of Malteaster bunnies.

We got the kids presents - a Cinderella dress up for my daughter and a Mr Tumble Spotty Bag for my son and we'll do a little Easter Egg hunt. It's mainly because we don't want them getting too much chocolate.

Ive seen some ridiculous ones on Facebook, people spending hundreds of pounds on their kids. There was no such thing as the Easter Bunny when I was growing up, and I'm only 32!

nope, I say no to commercialised ****.

I did buy a cherry kc1000 keyboard to replace an ageing labtec and the cherry is pure luxury in comparison. no easter keyboard special deals

I do however wait for the overpriced reeces peanut butter eggs/ easter bunny shapes etc... to be reduced after easter and buy them at a reasonable price. (they end in in b&m - home bargains about 6-8 weeks after leaving tesco's :-) )

Same as at xmas with the xmas tree shaped choccies!

Today I have two 23 l batches to bottle but had the dreadful feeling I didn't have enough caps. ....gestapo headquarters tells me Wilko is shut with it being easter....boo!
A rummage in my brew shed finds 3 packets of caps. ...yay!
Now that's an easter present!

Happy! Lots and lots of beer!

Been on about 5 hours and this floor is a bloody nightmare. Ripped up the old laminate flooring, put the 3 ml underlay down and started fitting however not sure if the sheets have square corners. Every time I fit a new plank against the next on a gap opens up and when I put that right a gap opens somewhere else.

I am having to fit and refit and so far got about 5 sheets down only. Given up till tomorrow, time for a few beers I think, to solve the problem!

Sounds like you have a wonky edge somewhere. ..my hall was a pig...until I found out one wall was on the **** then it made sense.
