As a new brewer I am planning to bottle my beer early next week.
I have read about priming sugar and other sugars that are used to add to bottles.
Do I need a special brewing sugar or can I use normal household sugar?
I am brewing an American style IPA.
Look forward to your thoughts.
Thanks.

ordinary sugar is fine:thumb:

I have only used brewing sugar, But then I am brain washed into thinking it is what you must use.
I will use normal sugar very soon, as there is no difference

There is, its cheaper. :thumb:
But buy your own bag of sugar for brewing, kept sealed and separate from the bag of table sugar the family uses.
