I've taken a pre boil gravity reading, but forgot to cool it to 20°C first. :doh:

Is there a calculation to work out what it should actually read? Or have you guys got the knowledge to know roughly what it should be?

Temperature was around 60°C and the reading was 1.040 if anyone can help.
 
Yeah, I might to that. I did it with my last one that I bottled yesterday and it finished as a very pleasant 4.7%. A nice strength I reckon.
