hi all
as I don't secondary I was wandering if anybody who else didn't cooled down theyre FV a week or a couple of days before bottling?
I've had my coopers ale at a fairly consistent 19c (diacetyl rest 3days) for almost two weeks and am trying to replicate the best I can the process of secondary in primary.
I don't have a fridge but could do an ice bath or just leave the heat belt off and see if itl lower a few degrees. the weathers lookin rather frosty next few days so would this work to my advantage?

any advise from primary only beer folk would be grateful

I have moved my last few brews out to the shed for about 48hours, obviously this won't work as well during the summer.

I use a bottling bucket to batch prime which has worked well to date.

Good luck.

cheers wfr42,

sounds like a plan, think ill have a bit of time to try this one out.
