first time trying this. made a gallon yesterday,will i have to add any finnings to clear it after fermentation has stoped.
 
Not really no - its supposed to look cloudy, but it will clear on its own given time.
I have done both wine and the fizzy beer versions and both were cloudy when bottled and both are now crystal clear.

I am planning on making a batch, how did it go? what strength is it?

hi max wonga, bottled on saturday took a week to ferment strength 4.6% first go, i thought it would be stronger than that, i only made a gallon and used 600g of sugar. is this about right anyone?
