Utter Carnage when I got into work this morning.

Now anyone who says that a primary fermentor doesn't pose an infection risk should think again.

Needless to say this one is getting changed this morning.

I think it is fair to say I have lost about 10% of the beer.

Oh dear..... too many elderberries in the Stout ?

sure made a bit of a mess for you GA

It was.

I think I need to go back to brewing 'session' ales again nothing more than 5.5%

it looks very much like a barrel we have at the farm, but I'll not go into what we keep in it!! Thats some serious fermentation you've had there!

I can imagine BM but thankfully It smells rather nice and not like what it looks like

You brew your beer at work?

Secret Brewer

Just spent an hour cleaning and dropping it into a clean fv for it to continue brewing. Needless to say it has reached its fg in 2 days but I had kept a gallon of wort back just in case it over flowed   So I am going to tip that in and 1.5L of elderberry juice to top up.

Well its been toped up with more wort and some more elderberry juice and it is bubbling away nicely again.

Just hope it behaves tonight
