Hi all,

I'm looking to bottle my brew tomorrow and have a couple of questions that I was wondering if anyone could advise on please:

- some of the bottles i've got are 300ml Aldi beer bottles and the glass feels quite thin. As i'm bottling with sugar do you think they'd be able to take the pressure from carbonation?

- i'm adding white sugar to some bottles and light brown sugar to others. How much sugar in your experience have you found is good for carbonation? The bottles i've got are 300, 330 and 500ml

Thanks in advance :thumb:

I use 1 level tea spoon of white sugar for light coloured beers and 3/4 for anything else per 500 ml bottle.

If the 300 and 330 ml bottles had beer/fizz in them before, then they should be OK for your brew. Just remember to scale down 1tsp per 500ml.
