Planned on making my Double Chocolate Espresso Stout today. Picking the missus up at 5 from work to go away to Edinburgh for the weekend so had all day. Lat night I got talked into golfing and it was a schoolboy error. Went down to the links and there was a bloody kids competition on 3 of the courses....on a bloody Friday! All the other courses were therefor packed so had to go out of town and play elsewhere. After 5 holes the sun disappeared and was replaced by hail, rain and violent wind. Gave up after 9 and went home...by which time it was too late to brew.
Cup of tea, watching the snooker and taking solace in the image of all those pesky junior golfers who should be at school battling through the hail will have to do :whistle:
