Just tried my first pint of a English IPA made with this yeast.

Starter with a starter, split the vial in two for a future brew. Starter went off well.

The main brew was quick to start fermenting and I needed a blow off tube because of the big thick white krausen.

The beer has cleared well and I got 78% attenuation. Not much esters detected from the yeast which you would want from the yeast.

Seems to be taking longer than others to compact down in the bottle and it's a bit powdery.

Thanks @get_er_brew

That's a good attenuation! I'll find out tomorrow (or Saturday depending when I find time to bottle) how Kansas Ears has done.

78% here too. I'll review the yeast once I've started drinking the beer but early signs are very promising!
