So, I have had issues with wild yeasts that are about up here wanting to join in and party with my LLalamond BRY97,,, So I wondered,,,

Anyone made a beer with sour dough yeast derived from yourself?:twisted:

No, tried to make a starter before and it went blue and i dont do blue.

No but have a wholemeal sourdough yeast sitting in my fridge that I'll get around to trying.Been there since Christmas when my brother made it for me as he loves his sourdough bread.

google the yoni beer or the one made from the cushion Roald Dahl sat farting on whist writing.

There is also the US brewers beard,

funnily none inspire much of a thirst, tho the latter has good reports..

It could be a fun project if your so inclined but may take a few years to isolate and nurture a suitable colony? then again you may hit gold on your first attempt?? if not already in your library the chris white yeast book sounds right up your street.
