PET bottles

Weve recently brews Coopers Canadian blonde. Batched charged and bottled into 330 glass and 500 coopers bottles.

Now the glass bottles were nice!
But were noticing an after taste out the pet bottles!
Anybody else heard or had this??

I did my first ever kit in a combination of glass and PET bottles. I wouldn't say the PET gave it a funny taste, but it tasted better out of the glass ones and I've used only glass for subsequent brews- it might be psychological though as we aren't used to drinking beer from plastic bottles!

You may well be correct. I wont drink Irn Bru out of a plastic bottle as Im adament it tastes better out of glass or a tin.

I suggest it's a bit like does your beer taste the same whether its from a plastic 'glass' or from a real glass. Or is beer better when drunk from a dimpled glass or a straight sided glass. It's all in the mind.
And as for Irn Bru.....
