Hi, I made the above kit on Saturday as per instructions in a standard brew barrell as opposed to the brewbag method.

As of yet theres very slow activity on the yeast front. As its lager yeast i wondered if it displayed different characteristics to ale yeast.

The wort is covered in what can be best described as 90% covered in islands of activity! No frothy fermenation I'm used to.

I have already roused it yesterday which must have had some effect but still doesnt seem to be kicking in fully?

I was thinking of repitching with some more lager yeast with some yeast vit.

I am brewing in the garage where the temp seems to be about 17 Degrees C .

Can anyone advise?
