Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask you guys if this would be any good as a boiler or come in handy in the brewing process:

I can get my hands on one but its pointless if it wont be of much use.

depends on what price you can get it for ?
Is it 40 litres ?
Can it reach a vigorous boil and hold it for 60 mins? Is the tap sturdy ( ish) ?

Can get it for free.
I think the 40 might be the amount of cups it will fill... i think its probably only in the region of 10 litres.
It can get to a boil and hold its heat for ages but wont do a continous boil.
Tap is fairly sturdy

At 10 liters it is a bit on the small size. The boil part can be overcome by overriding the cut out. But at 10lt, unless you plan on small brews you may not use it. Apart from making tea. :D

Yes at 10 litres and for free.....get it for the brew house coffee machine... :D
