Hi
Hope someone can help with a question of converting dme to liquid.
Mum makes a malt loaf with a jar of malt extract from Holland and Barrett. It comes out light in colour so she was not impressed, even though it tasted fine.

So, i thought get her some dark spraydried malt extract

Question is, how much water to add to end up with the equivalent out the jar.

This wine /cider person hasn't a clue, hope you can help.

I make a good malt loaf (Paul Hollywood recipe). It has some treacle and dark brown sugar in it. This may help with the colour.

H and B do a couple of extracts.One 454 gram jar which is fairly light/amber and a 650 gram jar which is fairly dark,has she tried the latter?
