Nice smooth looking brewday llannige :thumb:
I`ve got some fuggles to use up and was wondering if you`d brewed this or simular before - also where do you get your invert sugar and is it better then adding white table sugar?

:drink:
Happy brewing

Great brew again :thumb:
I hope those electrical leads weren't live, dangling over the filling FV ;)

Plastic and proud :D

Never used a 100% fuggles before so this is an experiment really.
The invert sugar was liquid invert sugar i.e. golden syrup.sounds better put that way. ;) It doesn't seem to thin the brew down as much as table sugar. :hmm:

Looks dangerous don't it.I can assure everyone they were both disconnected and ready to be put away. ;)

Cheers for the info on the golden syrup - love to know how your brew turns out, i`ve heard a little sugar can help the hop flavour come through also. I`m planning an old peculiar type brew with a tin of black treacle chucked in as its been sitting in the kitchen cupboard for ages and just seems like it will fit the beer type :thumb:

Will let you know how it turns out.

A tip with using syrup/treacle.

30 mins into the boil remove 2L of wort, place on the stove and dissolve syrup into pot and bring to boil.
Add back to boiler on 45 mins. :thumb:

llannige im going to have to plan a family holiday to South Wales in the summer, just to see one of your brew days. Keep up the brilliant work mate. And dont forget - Plastic is fantastic :thumb:
