Next up on my list is a Robust Porter my rough targets & recipe
5 Gallons
OG around 1.060
FG hopefully around 1.015
IBU 37 SRM 37 ABV 6% no higher.
5kg Pale malt
600g Munich or Crystal not decided yet.:grin:??
300g chocolate malt
200g black malt or maybe Black prinz malt
200g torified wheat.
Hops.
Kent Goldings (bitter)
Fuggles (flavour)
Kent Goldings (aroma)
What do you think? I haven't done a porter for over 10 years? Is the torified wheat addition. about right?
may need to tweek here & there, if the OG comes out higher.
Anything need changing?
