I'm hoping to start using Hambleton Bard CO2 canisters to pressurise my 2 barrels but i believe i have to remove the centre pin from my S30 valves?
Does anyone have any instructions on how to do this please?
Cheers

So long as they are the type that you can remove the pin from then it's easy enough. To the best of my knowledge only this style of valve has the removable pin:

http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/acatalog/Stainless-Steel-S30-Pin-Valve-Hambleton-Bard.html

The older brass type ones are either with a pin or without, no option to remove it.

I was going to explain how to remove the pin on the newer ones but then found this very handy guide:

http://www.lovebrewing.co.uk/downlo.../1672/love_brewing_s30_valve_instructions.pdf

Though this has confused me slightly (nothing to do with the pin) as with the newer stainless valves that I have it seems obvious that the sealing washer goes on the underside of the lid and yet in their diagram they show it on the topside. Oh well, many ways to skin a cat and all that

Spot on advice Graz and really simple to do (when you know how) ;-)
Cheers
