Hi All,
On 5th April I set a doubled up Brewferm Diablo going, pitching both yeasts and making up to 18 litres.
It has been in a fairly constant temperature range of 18-21 degrees and it is still bubbling away after nearly 6 weeks
My question is this - is it likely to be OK or does it sound as though something has gone wrong? It gives one decent bubble through the airlock every 5 mins or so, so obviously it's still fairly lively. The gas passing through the airlock smells normal - like very, very strong lager. The beer itself is very, very dark.
So what do you guys reckon? Has the Devil got to his namesake, or do you think it's going to end up OK, albeit very, very strong?
Thanks,
FatCol
