Good Luck, Not with the brew but trying to save it till Christmas :D
Hope to see piccys

no pix unfortunately

Element on boiler has just broken - thankfully I can use the second one in there

Elements are from ASDA value kettles - anyone else had issues - only done two brews with it? What goes wrong with kettle elements?? Light on switch won't turn on - nothing happening at all...

Cheers

Right have you tried to bypass the switch just incase the switch is faulty?
Have you removed the safety cut out on the back of the element if not it may be tripping out to early?

massive build up of solid break material on element may have done it

Will try it out tomorrow now it's clean

hope the brewday turned out OK in the end - my elements are cheapie tesco ones and i give them a good scrub after every brew as the build up of crud is incredible even on one brew and i`ve had no problems at all :thumb:
