Hi

I am new to the homebrew stuff, I am have just finished a Wilkos Rose which turned out great, I have just started a Wilkos white followed all instructions, 1 day on I have got I light covering on the surface and some sediment at the bottom, but what looks like floating sediment/yeast in the demijon, is this ok only I didnt have this with the rose

Any advice would be great

Cheers 🍻

Looks fine to me. The co2 produced often makes the yeast and sediment swirl around like crazy. When it starts to subside the yeast will settle out.

Thanks for the quick response... That's great

No problem. :-)

You can do two kits that are the same and still get different colours, smells visuals etc. Smells are the one for me, sometimes smells horrible. Turns out great!

Great advice. I may have chucked if it smelt funny....

Worst of my experience is dandelion wine. Smells like hot fart all the way through. Bottle and leave for 6 months.

Oh my God!

Missed it this year as your meant to do it st. George's day. No idea why.
