Good afternoon one and all,

I'm a complete Newbie to the home brewing world but it's something that's always interested me! (it involves beer at the end of the process, it doesn't get much better than that!)

I'm looking at brewing some decent strength larger (>5%) that would hopefully be ready to enjoy for Christmas so looking at recommendations for kits, tips etc.

Really looking forward to having some fun brewing and chatting to everyone :-)

I assume 'lager'? Plenty of recipes here: https://www.brewersfriend.com/
Any idea what quantities you want to start with?
