I just leak tested my thermopot which has a bottom drain courtesy of a tank connector but its got a rubber seal on one side but not the other any suggestions on what to use but not increase my dead space by much.

for my thermopot drain using a ss deck fitting from asap i used a smear of lsx on the mating face of the deck fitting.

Thanks, ordered so will see if it fixes the leak. I presume with a bit of effort if needed I could undo the fitting when I eventually upgrade to stainless.

Put some of the sealant on last night. Let it set overnight and a test this morning has shown no leaks. Now I can fit the false bottom and carry on with the build
