Just taken up homebrewing again after 30 years.
Cant believe how good the kits are now.
Just brewed a wherry kit three weeks ago and its lovely.
Just one question.
Have a Festivel new zealand pilsner on the go thats been fermenting for 19 days.
With this kit was a pouch of hops that was added after 5 days as per instructions.
Floting on and just below the surface is what looks like the remains of the hops.
Will this sink when fermentation is complete.
Taken a SG Reading but this is not quite down to 1.008 as per instructions.
Thanks for any answers.
Dave.

Welcome, yeah the wherry kit is a good one. :drink::drink::drink:
I wouldn't think they would necessarily sink when fermentation is complete, if its been fermenting for 19 days I would have thought that it would be complete by now but if it hasn't quite reached 1008 then I would give it a few days and then check again. If it's the same then I would barrel it :thumb:
