Changed my mind about going to lhbs this morning and ordered from homebrewcompay so as soon as that lot comes I shall get the English pale on!

Tasted nothing like it at all coming to think of it it was rank :mad: dont no what went wrong but that was one of my first biabs so dont no ? but bungle brewed a nice one his thread got loads of hits thats probs well worth a look at

Bitterness (IBU): 38.4
Boil Time (Minutes): 60

1.700 kg Maris Otter Malt (75.06%)
0.200 kg Roasted Barley (8.83%)
0.190 kg Cane Sugar (8.39%)
0.100 kg Crystal 60 (4.42%)
0.075 kg Chocolate (3.31%)

18.0 g Northdown Leaf (8.1% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil) (1.8 g/L)
3g Irish Moss @ 15 Minutes (Boil)

Mash at 66°C for 60 Minutes.
Ferment with Safale US-05
Had a couple bottles of this tonight and its a truly great pint

Want to get my next brew on!! But off to Brussels Thursday so brew day delay. On the plus side wil be supping lovely Belgian beer for 4 days!!

Pale Malt 3.6kg
Crystal Malt 120 150g
Carapils Malt 400g

Hops
Northdown 30g 60 Min
EKG 7g Flame Out
Target 7g Flame Out

Other
Protofloc 1 Teaspoon Last 15 Mins
Honey 250g Last 5 Mins

Yeast
Wyeast 1028
 
As the title says trying this one today

The Mash

Pale Malt 3100 grams
Crystal Malt 305 grams

Mash schedule 66c 90 mins

The Boil

Target Hops 11 grams at 90 mins
Challenger Hops 6 grams at 90 mins
Northdown Hops 6 grams at 90 mins

Golding Hops 7 grams at 15 mins
Irish Moss 3 grams at 15 mins

Boil time 90 mins

This will be a first for me a 90 min boil and mash
time to get cracking

Edit forgot the yeast, Used WLP002
