Anyone used this yet?

It's now available all year round, and was thinking of using it instead of WLP001/US-05 for my American style beers,as it's supposed to be more flocculent and really fast fermenting, whilst retaining all the clean characteristics of WLP001.

Taste-wise there's no difference in my opinion to 001 but it fermented out fully in 6 days. I normally need about 10 to get proper attenuation with any other White Lab yeast.

Cheers Kev :thumb: . I just checked out your webby BTW, and it looks very interesting. I built a BYOC pedal last year, and yours look really decent, not to mention better value :thumb:

Wandering dangerously off topic there...

The price of BYOC is shocking.

Back on topic - if you want a vial of San Diego just shout. Got any yeast to trade?

That's awesome, cheers! I don't have any yeast to swap yet (just bought a vial of WLP002 but you probs have loads of that!). I can certainly buy one you don't have, split it and send you some though. :thumb:

Aye no worries mate. Give me a shout when you're sorted.
