Dozy beggar that I am, I dumped 500g Dark DME into a brew this morning intending to use Light DME. What's done is done now and I modified slightly what I have done for the rest of the brew, but apart from the obvious colour difference does anyone know if the different colour DMEs taste any different?

Thanks @BeerCat. :thumb:
I was going to make a much boosted light pale ale using a Coopers Bootmakers one can kit, and use Cascade at the back end. But given my mistake I have changed that to EKG since it may be better suited.
I'll update when I get to sample the finished product in a few weeks time.

I have done things like that before and i still do. I bottled the wrong batch of beer (again) the other day. I think Shipyard make a rye beer which is quite brown. You have only added 1/4 of it so i bet its going to be a pleasant surprise. :)

I supped a fair few lurverly dark lagers while in Ukraine, they thought me very odd preferring to sup beers than neck back yard vodka..
so i imagine your in for a treat when it comes to sampling this brew..
