The bands will overheat your beer unless regulated by a thermostat best way is aquarium heater in a water bath :thumb:

Thanks folks. Sadly, I dont have a big-enough bucket to stand my Coopers fermenting bin in!!
What sort of temp is the fv at now? I put my fv up off the floor and wrap it up in an old duvet, and use an oil rad on a timer during the night if it's cold. I find that gives me a constant enough temperature without the need for a belt or mat :
