Which recipe? I see no link...
I am trying wheat to see how it compares to oats, which are a bit of a hassle when all I really want is reasonable head retention.

Nudging this one up too. Has anybody even used Wai-Iti hops before? I have never heard of them, but the description sounded interesting.

Is there a reason you put the Camden tablet in the boil rather than in the liquor before mashing ?

Absolutely not.
I put it in there due to lack of real awareness as to where and when it should go in. I know it is better to brew with than without, and I know what it does. I never really gave much thought to when it goes in.
Now you point it out, this seems like a research oversight
Do you know if it makes any difference? If so, I'l shunt it somewhere more effective.
Thanks for pointing it out,
Al

See the above edit.

Aha - I have been known to do that too.
So yours came out kind of wheaty, even though you ended up using wheat malt instead of horrified wheat? I may use a little less wheat then. I am really just after something which adds a little body and head retention. Next on my list for that effect is Carapils. I have tried oats, about to try wheat.
