Default Fermenting bucket not sealing

When brewing lager my buckets leak which I get is ok for primary but I will be dropping temp down to lager for a few weeks or so does the fact that these dam bucket lids leak make for problems over the long lager period ?

Once fermentation's finished and there's no gas moving about you can wrap them with clingfilm.

Dont worry about it.. The volume decrease due to a falling temperature will be gradual and slow not a massive turbulent event, So any O2 ingress into the bucket will remain atop the heavier co2 that may have reduced in volume somewhat.

a wrap round the rim with a roll of ptfe before popping the lid on may cure the seal.
