Slight hicup with too much sugar so had to make some adjustments.

16.5 ltr AJ
3 ltr RGJ
1.5 kg sugar
Juice of 9 limes
1 ltr strong tea
2 ltr water
4 Lowicz Strawberry (plus a further 1 for priming)

2 tsp Pecto
1 tsp yeast

SG 1.07, expected 10.5%, a bit stronger than I intended.

I was aiming for a bit stronger flavour so will wait to see how this turns out.

Oh, and I have it in my 30 ltr FV in case fermentation goes daft.

Lordy , that’s cider with a kick !!
Does it double up as rocket fuel ? 🤣

I need to curb my enthusiasm a bit. I was aiming for 7%. However, I won't complain if its drinkable.[emoji3]

That’s the fun part !
I made a ginger beer last year that was so refreshing to drink but...

1 bottle and I was giddy.
2 I was wobbly.
3 I fell over !

Sooooo strong !

This finished out at 9.8%. It took longer than expected to ferment out.

Actually tastes quite good.

Now bottled and awaiting secondary fermentation.

f'me that stuff will put hairs on your chest

reminds me of one of my early attempts at TC, a cherry version that was about 10%

two pints of that drunk like regular cider and I couldn't remember anything after haha

Oh FFS. Opened a bottle tonight. Completely pished on a 1.5ltr.

Next time MUST make sure to check potential alcohol content twice.
