New to the forum but have been brewing on and off for 30 years, currently mostly brewing beer from kits that get tweaked/ modified depending on mood and availability.
I also brew cider in three variants from locally available apples the first being from pure juice ( plain old cider)which comes in at 5-6% abv then a ferment off the left over pulp ( 2nd run cider) which comes in at 3-4 % abv after the addition of brewers sugar
Then the cider brewed from concentrate off the steam juice extractor and fermented with Alcotec48 yeast which comes in at <15% abv (suicider)
Currently drinking Midas touch golden ale
Fermenting 15 litres of wine from grapes grown on the allotment
The above mentioned ciders
Have just assembled the ingredients for an imperial coconut rum milk Stout from extract.
I would love to get into BIAB all grain but will struggle with the weight of the bag while draining
