I'm going to be brewing the East India Pale Ale recipe from the Durden Park Beer Circle book and want to know what yeast would people who've brewed similar advocate ?
I have WLP 004, WLP 023, Nottingham, SO4 and S05 available, but will buy another if needed.
Reading through the whitlabs site they specifically mention WLP 002 for IPA.

Any advice much appreciated ;)

023 for me every time

Brewlab have a nice Burton Yeast as well, but it's a bit of a faff . . . unless you pay the premium and have them grow it up to starter quantities for you.

I used Nottingham. Only because it was what i had at the time and was told it copes with high alcohol levels. It did.
Next time i do this again i'll try 023. I'll have to find someone down under who does whitelabs though :hmm:
