T'missus has said I can use up the remaining berries in the freezer, and we have enough wine, so I thought it was time for another melomel.
But I have enough fruit for 2 gallons, so thought one of them might be golden syrup instead of honey.
My golden syrup notmead was a success - but it was spiced, and had a bit of black treacle, making it like an alcoholic liquid version of cinder toffee.
No sure fruit will mix with that, but it needs to be different somehow from the honey gallon.
Hmmmmmm.
