I add my hops to the wort loose in the boiler, when it's cooked I usually just pour the lot through a sieve.
My friend is an engineer and can make anything I come up with!
I'm thinking of sitting a perforated false bottom that sits just above the tap hole, then I can just pour the wort through tap and tube into fermenter.
What's your thoughts? Do you think it will affect the vigorous boil?
I use an ordinary catering boiler (burco)
