Except points 4 and 5, I don't think I've heard enough of those to say they were myths, and some not at all like the citra one, but then I don't tend to frequent american homebrew forums. Point 9 regarding sugar, I would say is wrong (or irrelevant) and actually works quite well if you know your efficiency and aren't swapping brews on to a different system.
 
Nice summary. I always get upset by nr. 10, because the physics and chemistry of boiling wort are not at the level that many Maillard products are formed, let alone sugar is caramelised. Regarding nr 4, it's not what you have, it's what you do with it. At what point does a hobby turn into an obsession? I have fairly simple material, and nothing in the way of pumps or electronics. I brew nice beers.
