My first kit was a Woodfordes, the Admirals Reserve. It did stick a bit around 1020 but only took a stir and slight increase in temperature to get it going again. The fermentation took a lot longer than the kit suggested, think it was 3 weeks. Very happy with the end result, nice pint :drink:

Just took reading after 5 days and read 1014, dose that sound about right.
 
Sounds like it's getting there, it might not come down much further but i would leave it in the fv for at least another couple of days just in case

Yes. That is your yeast doing what's called "flocculating" which is basically when they drop out of suspension.
