Finally got the time and space to brew pretty much whatever I want, so banging on a supply for the winter.
Apple and Blackcurrant Cider (Turboish variety)
7L Aldi Simply Apple
I bottle (0.44L) Lowicz Blackcurrant Syrup
2.4L 5 Tea Bag Cuppa Char
Made a massive brew and ignored it for 10 mins, then sat it in a sink of cold water for 10 mins to chill a little.
Lowicz into the 10L FV
Juices follow
Whisk the living bejesus out of it to foam it right up
Add brew
Check temps - 21, bangin!
Whisk again and pitch cider yeast with sweetener.
Done
Gurgling like a good un, smelling epic. Will prime with 140mL Lowicz syrup after decanting to a bottling bucket, gently mix to ensure homogeneity and bottle in Plastic.
Its really going for it this one, should be a nice cider when its done...
