right i have a beaverdale cab sav ready to start the final process of adding the stabiliser, kiesel, finings but its saying add stabilisre and shake now do i move this to another demijohn off the yeast bed or do as the instructions say ,any help greatly recieved as its my first ever wine ,atb wayne

sorry for slow response - been a tad busy this week

It's normal practise (as I understand it!) to rack the wine to a clean demi john to make the additions - let's face it, you'll be giving the finings a much harder time if you've just shaken up the sediment bed :thumb:

Thanks for the responce i did in the end transfare it to another demijon as it didnt seem right shaking it up with all the yeast on the bottom. its all looking good and will be putting to bottles shortly ,thanks again wayne

I'm at exactly the same stage with this kit and thought it tasted great even now - can't wait for it to be ready for drinking
