Team My work continues on my boiler
I take it theat normal fermenter and keg taps are no good for a boiler due to the heat produced.

Can someone suggest a good Tap and Hop strainer combination for my 60L boiler?
And where to get them

Try these..

Not used one myself but I've seen them recommended.

edit: For the hop strainer, make one out of 15mm copper pipe.

I use one of the orange tap. Good stuff. As for the hop strainer I used 20mm copper pipe. With the holescut in it then cut a wedge shape out at the tap end, squashed it in a vice to bring the sides together and bunged it into the tap. Works a treat. :)

You can see where I took some copper out to make the end smaller.

Fits nicely into the back of the orange tap.
I don't know why everything looks green. It isn't. It's just all brown and used looking :)
Think it ads flavour to the beer ;)

That's pretty much the same as the hop strainer in my Brewpak/Severin boiler.

Only difference is mines soldered onto something clever that screws onto the back of the tap.

If you want I can post a pic if you want to try to copy?

Here's what mine looks like on the inside when fitted

and my tap on the outside, of course you can go better and use a ball valve ;)
